Breast cancer awareness - Get involved
Kudos to my friend Steven Blanton for ‘stepping up’ for a cure during the ‘Artful bra’ exhibit. During the exhibit, Steven and his group of friends made a brief drag appearance while dancing to Mamba No.5. The event raised over $10,000 (10K). Out of the 10K, 4K was donated to the Best Chance Network. Best Chance is a South Carolina organization that helps women with clinical breast exams and mammograms. For (SC) women who cannot afford to be tested;
· If you lack insurance or have insurance that only covers hospital care
· Are between the ages of 40 and 64, and
· Meet certain income guidelines.
